About The Doctor
Dr. Deroee is a triple board-certified specialist in anesthesiology, pain management, and addiction medicine. His primary focus is on managing pain, treating challenging mental health conditions, restoring function, and improving the quality of life for those under his care. He is deeply committed to providing compassionate care and always puts his patients first, making sure each person gets the personalized treatment and attention they deserve.
His journey in medicine began in 1996 at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, where his rotations in the emergency room ignited his passion for alleviating the pain of trauma patients. This early experience motivated him to explore various nerve blocks and pain management techniques, sparking a lifelong fascination with pain relief strategies.
Driven by his dedication to advancing patient care, Dr. Deroee immigrated to the United States in 2007 to further his medical career. He conducted groundbreaking research at esteemed institutions such as Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH, resulting in the publication of over twenty articles in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Deroee began residency training in anesthesiology in 2011 and specialized in interventional pain management at Cleveland Clinic starting in 2015. Under the guidance of world-renowned pioneers in the field, he refined his skills and became a full-time interventional pain specialist in 2016.
Drawing from extensive experience as an anesthesiologist and pain specialist, Dr. Deroee has utilized ketamine in the operating room, post operative pain, and in outpatient settings extensively. He is highly skilled in Ketamine application. His in-depth understanding of chronic conditions allows him to effectively tailor ketamine therapy to meet individual patient needs. His approach integrates hands-on expertise, cutting-edge research, and an unwavering dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care, ensuring the highest standard of treatment for his patients.
